  1. Day 1

    Airport to Kandy

    Met at Bandaranaike airport and driven to Kandy, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way. A panoramic tour of the city, then the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in the evening. Both stops are optional.

  2. Day 2

    Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

    A slow breakfast, then up into the hills by way of the Ramboda Hanuman Temple. A tour of Nuwara Eliya, the town they call Little England, including the Seetha Amman Temple where the Ramayana places Sita's captivity.

    Down to the coast

    Out of the hills to the coast at Koggala. A boat safari through the Madu River mangroves and the turtle hatchery at Ahungalla, both optional, then the beach hotel.

    Bentota and Galle

    A leisurely morning at the hotel. Water sports at Bentota in the afternoon if you want them, then Galle Fort in the evening, passing the Koggala stilt fishermen on the way.

Conditions

Booking

Once you confirm the details, we hold the booking with a deposit of 30 per cent. Your confirmation reaches you within 48 hours of that payment clearing. The remaining 70 per cent is due 30 days before the tour starts, and once it is paid you can go ahead and apply for your visa.

Rooms and tickets are subject to availability until the booking is confirmed in writing.

Cancellation

More than 30 days before arrival: no charge.
Between 30 and 21 days before arrival: 50 per cent of the tour price.
Inside 21 days, or no-show: 100 per cent of the tour price.
